Prior to going into real estate, I graduated Tulane Architecture School in New Orleans with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Architecture. I worked at a prominent architecture firm in Asheville for several years before starting my own business, selling my mixed-media wall pieces. My work was published in several magazines and books (Clay Times, Niche Magazine, Surface Design for Ceramics, etc.) and I won many awards including Best in Show at Artisphere in Greenville, SC in 2008. I’m still a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, though I’m much too busy in my real estate career now to make art. I certainly don’t feel deprived of getting the chance to use my creativity though. On the contrary, to be an exceptional agent, one must be extremely creative by thinking outside the box. I feel as though my background couldn’t have set me up more suitably to be the successful agent I’ve become.
When I moved to Asheville from Baltimore over 20 years ago, my first home was in East Asheville. I now enjoy the close-to downtown access of my home in the historic neighborhood of Montford.
I build relationships with people and help them find just the right properties to suit their desires. Understanding the nuanced differences of the region’s many distinct, unique and charming neighborhoods is one of my specialties, and helps me to help you find the best match for your needs.
My broad design and architectural background, coupled with my extensive knowledge of the Asheville area market, is what sets me apart as an agent. I vow to listen closely to your needs and work diligently to exceed your expectations in the search for your next property. I look forward to working with you and having fun, exploring this amazing, wonderful, beloved town of Asheville with you in the process.
